The 2004 vintage rewarded us with a classic Cabernet Sauvignon.  Aged for 3 years in barrel followed by an additional year in bottle in our cellar before release, the wine is perfectly mature and opening beautifully.

A deep garnet color, the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon shows deep aromas of currents, coffee, graphite, and grilled bread with hints of cedar.  Full bodied with soft tannins, the wine is smooth and silky on the palate with ripe red fruit flavors backed by hints of roses and spice.  A lovely minerality adds freshness on the finish.

Released December 18, 2008.  Only 109 cases produced.

The 2005 Syrah is a blend of two distinct vineyards: cool climate Syrah comes from the renowned Black Oak Vineyard in Los Alamos and the Koehler Vineyard provides the lush fruit of a warmer climate. 

In the glass, the wine has a deep purple core with vivid magenta highlighting the rim.  The nose is rich with dark fruits including blueberries and black cherries, backed by notes of chocolate covered strawberries, white chocolate and coffee.  Mouth-filling and very well balanced, the flavors are well woven on the palate and build to include a smoky, tarry tone on the finish.  89 Points, Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

Rich purple in color with a nose full of sage and mountain herbs, this mouthwatering wine has fruity notes of blackberry and raspberry that introduce a muscular structure with earthy notes.  A highly focused wine, delectable and powerful, composed of succulent fruit, aromatic spice and marvelous piquancy.  Pairs well with chocolate desserts!

The grapes were sourced from the Koehler Estate Vineyard in Los Olivos and Black Oak Vineyard in Los Alamos, in Santa Barbara County.  91 Points, Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

Released September 15, 2010.  Only 172 cases produced.

Blended of equal parts of Sangiovese, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Tempranillo, this fruit-forward wine shows a lush profile that is light and approachable while also complex and rich.  Ambrosial floral notes and spice aromas merge with bright sumptuous fruit followed by pleasing notes of chocolate, tobacco and blackberry.  The sum is truly greater than its parts.

Released June 7, 2010.  Only 120 cases produced.

Light gold in color, our 2007 Riesling has a nose of lemons and honeysuckle.  The palate is off-dry, with notes of lemon meringue, granny smith apples, and a hint of petrol.  The 1.5% residual sugar is balanced with bright, crisp acidity, leading to a very smooth finish.

Released January 15, 2009.  Only 310 cases produced.

Garnet red in color with a nose full of black fruit, this Grenache is light in body but has a deep, rich flavor of black cherry and plum jam; a slight touch of oak softens the natural acidity of this beautiful grape.  Notes of roasted coffee, cedar and dark chocolate on the finish round out the experience of every sip and exemplify the contrasts that make this wine delicious.

A luscious, flowery nose bursts from the glass like a ripe berry, offering up hints of spice, raspberry and cherry.  Sourced from Casa Cassara Vineyard, this is one of the silkiest, cleanest, most elegant Pinot Noirs to come from the Sta. Rita Hills AVA.  From the first sip, the wine glides across the tongue with delightfully focused fruit, supple body and pleasing tannins that warm the palate.  The finish reinforces the soft acidity of the wine with a lingering, succulent fruit.
